Children & Warts

Children

Warts can occur at any age but are most common in children. They are more prone to developing a wart, because their immune system is still developing. Warts are rarely found in infants, but as they grow into childhood, children are more susceptible to getting warts. They get infected with the virus by direct contact and indirect contact; playing with friends, sharing items or showering.

Treatment in children

Warts will eventually disappear within two years, but they can be painful when they occur on the sole of the foot and they can also be embarassing. When dealing with warts in children, you might want to use a gentle and painless treatment. The skin is more fragile and less resistant. Many of the treatments available are painful and can damage the healthy skin. The most common treatment is freezing the warts but it is painful and leaves blisters for weeks. Salicylic acid is a chemical and causes a burning feeling and skin irritation.

Bye Wart! offers a friendly and painless solution. It uses a unique formula of natural oils and herbs that are known for their effective treatment of warts and are also gentle on the skin. Bye Wart! is dermatologically tested and can be used on children aged 3 years and older.
